HUGO operates under an "at-will" employment policy. This means that both the consultant (you) and the company have the right to terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause, and with or without advance notice. Importantly, this arrangement cannot be altered by anyone other than the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or the Executive Vice President of Human Resources, and any changes to this policy must be documented in writing and signed by one of these executives.
Additionally, the company retains the full discretion to establish and modify key aspects of employment, including compensation, benefits, job duties, working conditions, and discipline policies. No one other than authorized senior leadership has the ability to make changes or enter into specific agreements outside of this general at-will arrangement.
In essence, this policy ensures flexibility for both the company and the consultant, while also emphasizing that any exceptions or changes must be clearly documented and approved by top executives.
