Job Suspension due to Inactivity

Job posts that have been inactive for 30 days are automatically suspended.

HUGO is designed to offer transparency to both clients and candidates in order to provide the most accurate Match results for a submitted job opportunity. To accomplish this goal, HUGO will automatically Suspend any open job posts after 30 days of inactivity.

  • What does "Inactivity" mean?

An inactive job post is one that has not had any activity related to the job post. Examples of activity include job description updates, inviting matched candidates to apply for the job, sending interview requests, making an offer, etc.

  • What type of jobs will be suspended?

Only open job posts that have been published but not yet awarded will be suspended after a 30-days of inactivity.

  • Will I be notified before my job is suspended?

Absolutely! You will receive two email notifications to the email address you used to create your profile on HUGO. Please follow the directions noted in each email under "What's Next?" to reactivate your job post.

  1. The first notification is sent at 15 days of inactivity as a reminder to log in to your HUGO account and take action:
  2. The second notification will be sent after suspension at the 30-day mark of inactivity:

What are my next steps if my open job post has been suspended due to inactivity?

If your job is suspended you can still log into your HUGO dashboard and edit your suspended job so that you can repair the issue that caused the suspension.

If you are unable to resolve the suspension on your own, please contact [email protected]
